The Transmig 500HD has gouging capabilities with up to 9.5mm carbon rods, giving you the flexibility to prep and repair on the fly. Its arc stability and control are just as sharp with Hot Start, Arc Force, Adjustable Burnback and Crater Fill on MIG, giving you fine-tuned arc response across any process.
It is your ultimate solution for heavy fabrication, workshop production, mining, structural welding and repair work. Air or water cooled, it won’t miss a beat.
With an 80% duty cycle at 500A, you’ll get extended performance under pressure, and thanks to the built-in Voltage Reduction Device (VRD) , you can switch back to STICK welding with added operator safety. Run it with the included Tweco TW4 HD MIG Gun for precision work and added versatility.
