Every MIG gun needs a contact tip, gas nozzle, diffusor and liner. Tip size must match the wire diameter (e.g. 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm). Nozzle and diffusor kits vary by gun model—always reference your gun’s spares catalogue.
Replace contact tips when you see spatter build-up, welding irregularities (poor arc start, burn-back) or when the tip’s aperture is eroded beyond tolerance. In high-use environments, tips may need changing daily or weekly.
While some generic consumables fit, we strongly recommend genuine spares to ensure correct fit, optimal heat dissipation and consistent weld quality. Non-genuine parts may void warranty.
–After use, blow out the liner with compressed air to remove debris.
